The app shows how services for the public good as a branch of business could look like on your farm. Select the relevant measures and calculate your potential bonus. The app will also suggest how to optimise your public goods bonus – for the environment and for your farm’s bottom line.
smartGAPP is a simulation – not an actual funding scheme. If the PGB 3D were to be integrated into the EU’s Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), it could also become possible to submit agricultural applications at the click of a button.

smartGAPP is being developed in close collaboration with farms – from real-world experience for real-world application.
Already during development, the public goods bonus was assessed on farm level to ensure approved results.
The app is currently assessed and further developed in collaboration with pilot farms across Germany. The feedback has been encouraging easy to use, offering a realistic simulation and an inspiring vision for the future.
