PGB 3D-Measures – solid and effective
Achievement of policy objectives through the support of scientifically sound, field-proven, and sustainably effective measures and services.
The measures of the PGB 3D support the achievement of European environmental and climate targets by promoting specifically the conservation of key assets such as biodiversity, climate and water. They put the CAP principle of ‘public money for public goods’ into real-world, thereby contributing to the CAP’s environmental objectives – for example, by increasing land use diversity, reducing nutrient input and enhancing CO₂ sequestration. In this way, the PGB 3D creates a practical approach for efficiently implementing EU-wide requirements such as the Farm-to-Fork Strategy and the Biodiversity Strategy across the agricultural landscape.
